Mabellas Charcuterie NYC was not born as a business… it was born from love.
From a very early age, cooking became my way of connecting with others. It was never just about preparing food — it was about bringing people together, creating conversations, and turning simple moments into lasting memories. I would cook for my family and friends, and there was something I truly cherished: watching them taste each bite, seeing their reactions, their smiles, the way they kept going back for more… that moment meant everything to me.
Over time, I realized that the joy I felt in the kitchen could be shared with so many more people. That’s when I made a promise to myself: if it wasn’t going to be a restaurant, I would still build something of my own: a business from home that allowed me to continue doing what I love.
For years, I heard the same words: “You cook so well, you should do this professionally.” But it wasn’t until I discovered the art of charcuterie that everything truly clicked. I found a way to express my creativity, my love for details, and my passion for presentation.
But there was something deeper within me: a desire to create something truly unique, something that felt like me. That’s how the idea of designing my own wooden boards was born. Not just as a base to present my creations, but as an extension of my art: pieces crafted with intention, designed to elevate every detail and transform each presentation into something truly special.
From there, my first boards began to take shape completely handcrafted, built from the foundation to the final detail, with delicacy and a distinctive touch that now defines Mabellas. And one thing was clear to me from the very beginning: if I was going to offer charcuterie, it had to be of the highest quality, with carefully selected ingredients to create a truly exceptional experience.
But my story doesn’t end there.
My love for cooking has always gone beyond just one form. I wanted to keep creating, to keep surprising… and that’s when desserts became part of Mabellas. A new way to bring sweetness, evoke emotion, and complete each experience with something unforgettable.
Every step of this journey has been filled with growth, learning, and dedication. I have invested time in educating myself, refining my craft, and surrounding myself with people who contribute to this dream. But one thing has never changed: my passion.
Today, Mabellas Charcuterie NYC is more than a business. It is the reflection of everything I love: food, art, details, and the joy of watching others experience what I create.
